MEET BEN HIOCO

Ben Hioco is the Sales Director of Countrywide Hotels.

Ben has had over thirty years of extensive experience in many different hotel sales roles including Agency Account Director managing a portfolio of over 14.4m, London Business Director launching four brand new non-residential meeting venues into London with an annual turnover of over 16m, Resort Sales Director for one of the UK’s leading conference and events venues managing an annual turnover of over 16.5m

This has provided Ben with skills to evaluate sales from an owner’s perspective focusing on ROI and EBITDA performance.

As Countrywide Sales Director, Ben drives and coaches his sales team to successfully manage the group sales for 32 hotels. Ben also looks after our client relations and contracts, working with clients who are looking for branded or long-term space, in one of our hotels. Recently he successfully negotiated and was awarded  HM Government contracts amounting to an annual turnover of over £900,000.

Ben has spent the last three years working in the managed hotels and franchise industry. This has provided him with the opportunity to value sales from an owner’s perspective focusing on ROI and EBITDA performance.
